How about ending the 2023 golf season with a golf excursion to Germany?
I have prepared and reserved a trip through PinHigh NL for up to 30 members from Monday, October 9, 2023 to Wednesday, October 11, 2023.
This is the program:
Monday, October 9, 2023
Drive to Germany and play at the Golf and Country-Club Elfrather Mühle, An der Elf rather Mühle 145, 47802 Krefeld. Tee times from 12:00 noon. The club is 200 km from The National and 21 km from the hotel.
First overnight stay at the Wellings Parkhotel, Neuendickstrasse 96, 47475 Kamp-Lintfort. Welcome drink and 3-course dinner.
Tuesday, October 10, 2023
Breakfast at the hotel (do-it-yourself packed lunch from the buffet). Then drive to Golf Club Schloss Haag, Schloss Haag 8, 47608 Geldern. Tee times from 11:30 am. The club is 18 km from the hotel.
Second overnight stay at the Wellings Parkhotel with 3-course dinner.
Wednesday, October 11, 2023
Breakfast at the hotel (do-it-yourself packed lunch from the buffet). Then drive to Golf Haus Bey, An Haus Bey 16, 41334 Nettetal. Tee times from 11:30 am. After the round and prize-giving ceremony, drive back home. The club is 35 km from the hotel and 170 km from the National.
The hotel (in which I have never slept) looks very nice and the golf courses (which I have never played) also seem to meet the expectations of most golfers.
The cost for the trip is 459 € per person with a single room in the hotel plus between 5 and 10 € administrative fees and insurance. Green-fees and dinners/breakfasts/packed lunches are included.
Who may participate? Men (please no transgender discussions here) of legal age (U18s are not accepted for legal liability reasons - yes, I am a lawyer), seniors are of course welcome, the National must be your home club and your handicap must not exceed 28.
Once the group of participants has been determined, payment must be transferred to my bank account (due date not yet known) and I will pay PinHigh in one go, otherwise each individual booking will cost an additional 25 €.
Should you be unable to attend between your payment and the trip, I will try to find a replacement from a reserve list. But be aware that in that case your payment may be at least partially lost.
